FVPS Finishing Fund and Production Assistance Program
The Film and Video Poetry Society is currently excepting application for 2022. Our platform provides financial or technical resources for film and video projects that have completed principle photography. This finishing fund is offered in support of the distribution and exhibition of videopoetry.
Resources can include but are not limited to:
Editing, Telecine, DVD Duplication
Voice Over Recording, Audio Mixing, Music Composition
Virtual Reality or 360° Support
Transcription, Closed Captions, Subtitling, Translation
The Film and Video Poetry Society can also implement film festival and competition strategies, organize screenings, and secure distribution for qualified projects.
Film and video poetry projects of any language are eligible for FVPS finishing funds.
We focus on video poetry, poetry films, essay films, experimental work, avant-garde, performing arts, time based media, and non narrative based work that reifies human communication and strengthens society's ability to use and understand poetry, language, and literature.
501(c)(3) Fiscal sponsorship is not necessary to apply.
There are no restrictions on project duration.
